My social media experience includes managing up to 11 clients and their social media platforms from all over the country and industries. Some of my duties included: onboarding, develop an in depth content strategy, consult with multiple clients to understand their social marketing objectives for FB, Twitter, Google+ & Yelp. I also monitored feedback and respond to reviews & develop content calendar and topic framework. I came up with all writing content/images.
Prior, I spent 3 years at A+E Television Networks in their post-production team dealing with all shows airing on A&E, Lifetime, FYI, History and H2. I assisted producers as well as conducted edits on my own for shows delivering to I-tunes, TV Everywhere and Home Video along with other key administrative duties: i.e. updating the database, sending tapes to vendors and making sure edit sheets are equipped with correct show information and handing off transcripts.
I was a New Media Manager and Editor in Chief of the GUESS Access Blog for GUESS Watches within their new media/creative team. GUESS Access is an international fashion blog with contributors all over the world and translated into 8 different languages. I dealt with the content, editorial calendar and manage the blog in conjunction with Facebook. I managed the GUESS Watches Facebook page creating content for over two million fans as well as launching a global Twitter campaign.
I had the pleasure of being part of the Us Weekly freelance team in their editorial department. I attended red carpets and have interviewed a wide range of celebrities from Andy Cohen, Bette Midler, Stevie Wonder, Michael Kors, Julianne Moore, Laura Linney, Melissa Leo, etc. I attended private screenings and press conferences for newly released movies. I transcribed interviews when needed and built relationships with different PR companies who needed events covered.
I also did some freelance work for ABC News: 20/20 in their editorial/web department. I assist editors with deadlines, special projects, shoots and content on the website. I was able to work on set with talents like Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Chris Cuomo and Elizabeth Vargas.
I had an Independent Study while pursuing my Master's in the web department of Oprah.com/O Magazine aka Mamma O Headquarters. I produced their web pages on Oprah.com using XML and CMS as well as building their monthly web lineups and spreadsheets for the editors and fellow producers.
I was a production assistant for MTV.com for a short period of time assisting special projects ranging from 'The Hills' and the '2010 MTV Movie Awards.' I was writing copy for mtv.com and posting videos/photo galleries and feeds.
